Terms of Service

Version 2026.1Effective 01 May 2026Updated 26 May 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Geteroom (“the platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service. Geteroom provides capability verification, simulation-based evaluation and proof-of-work hiring infrastructure for companies and talent. Geteroom is operated from Kenya and these Terms are governed by Kenyan law.

2. Accounts & workspaces

You are responsible for activity under your account and for safeguarding your credentials. Company workspaces may host multiple seats managed by the workspace owner.

3. Pilot access & billing

Geteroom is currently operating in curated pilot-access mode. Pilot workspaces receive access free of charge while we validate workflows. If paid plans are introduced in the future, we will notify you in advance and you may decline to continue without penalty. No automatic charges occur during the pilot.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Geteroom to discriminate unlawfully, misrepresent candidate work, scrape data without authorization, or interfere with the platform’s integrity. See our Responsible Hiring Guidelines and Assessment Integrity Policy. Hiring decisions remain the responsibility of the employer.

5. Talent rights

Talent retain ownership of their proof-of-work submissions. Companies receive a limited licence to evaluate submitted work strictly for hiring decisions.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but provide the platform on an “as is” basis. Scheduled maintenance and unexpected outages may occur. During pilot access some features roll out progressively as pilot previews.

7. Termination & pilot suspension

You may close your workspace at any time from your settings. We may pause or restrict pilot access for accounts that violate these Terms, applicable Kenyan law, or the rights of other users.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith discussion and, failing that, referred to the competent courts of Kenya.
